RS Aero European Youth Team Racing Championship 2024: Terza Edizione a Cagliari
Cagliari, Italy – After the success of previous editions, the RS Aero European Youth Team Racing Championship returns for its third edition from October 25 to 27, 2024. Once again, the event will be hosted at the Circolo Canottieri Ichnusa in collaboration with the Lega Navale Sulcis.
As in past editions, the event will feature talented young sailors from all over Europe competing aboard the high-performance RS Aero 5 boats. The championship is open to teams of two sailors, consisting of one boy and one girl, with an age limit of under 25 years by December 31, 2024. The races will be held in a “team racing” format, where two teams, each composed of two boats, will compete against each other.
The RS Aero 5 boats will be provided directly by the organizers, so participants only need to travel to Cagliari to compete. They will only need to bring a bottle of water and a watch on board.

Accommodation, including breakfast and dinner, and the use of the RS Aero 5 boat will be provided free of charge by the OA from the day of arrival, the 24th of October, to the 28th of October (day of departure). Each team will have hospitality included for two athletes and one coach.
They will only need to arrange their own transfers to and from the airport, while a shuttle will be provided from the hotel to the club.

Cagliari, Italia – Dopo il successo delle edizioni precedenti, l’RS Aero European Youth Team Racing Championship ritorna per la sua terza edizione dal 25 al 27 ottobre 2024. Anche quest’anno, la manifestazione si svolgerà presso il Circolo Canottieri Ichnusa, in collaborazione con la Lega Navale Sulcis.
Come nelle edizioni passate, l’evento vedrà giovani velisti di talento provenienti da tutta Europa sfidarsi a bordo delle performanti imbarcazioni RS Aero 5. Il campionato è aperto a squadre di due velisti, composte da un ragazzo e una ragazza con un limite di età di 25 anni non compiuti al 31 dicembre 2024. Le gare si svolgeranno con il formato “team racing”, ovvero due squadre composte ciascuna da due barche si sfideranno l’una contro l’altra.
Le RS Aero 5 saranno fornite direttamente dagli organizzatori: i partecipanti dovranno quindi solo recarsi a Cagliari per competere. Sarà necessario solo aggiungere a bordo una bottiglia d’acqua e un orologio.

L’alloggio, inclusi colazione e cena, sarà offerto gratuitamente dall’organizzazione per le notti dal 24 (data arrivo) al 28 (data di partenza) ottobre 2024.
ogni squadra avrà inclusa l’ospitalità di due atleti + un coach. Dovranno solo occuparsi in autonomia dei trasferimenti da e per l’aeroporto, mentre dall’hotel a circolo ci sarà la navetta.
